The First Development Cooperation Forum was held last January, in which economic and social reform framework and short- and long- term plan were laid down.

Besides, cooperation for comprehensive development of Myanmar was also discussed with the release of Nay Pyi Taw Accord Effective Development Cooperation.

According to the accord, measures for generating more income at home and international aid for development of Myanmar were sought.

Development partners welcomed Myanmar government's goal in financial allotment for development and hoped that more financial assistance will go to the key sectors, especially poorly-funded sectors.

They also approved that aid will be used effectively in Myanmar reform process that will help get more international aid.
