Germany-based Mercedes Benz is
planning to open a sales centre on Pyay Road, Yangon in January next
year, according to local distributors.
"The showroom is constructed near
Konemyint Thar on Pyay Road. It will be ready on January next year,"
said Aye Win Tun, Sales Manager of Cycle & Carriage Automobile
Myanmar Co. Ltd.
The company will also open a car
workshop in Yangon early next year. Daimler AG and Jardine Cycle and
Carriage Ltd. will work together to import Mercedes Benz cars and give
the services with technicians from Germany.
The service centre will give priority for the Mercedes Benz cars imported directly from Germany.
The Mercedes Benz cars which have been
imported via other countries will get premium services and the centre
will provide spare parts and general services under company guarantees.
