Myanmar-Indian economic forums to be held in central Myanmar

To promote bilateral cooperation and trade between India and Myanmar, the country will host special economic forum in two biggest cities in Mandalay, the second largest city, and Monywa, located 136 km no,rthwest of Mandalay on May 26 and 27, Indian Media said.


The forum will emphasize the needs for economic sectors, promoting border trade and tourism industry of both countries.

Myanmar will also attract Indian entrepreneurs who want to invest in beverages, electronic, agriculture, timber enterprise, mine exploring, trading as well as transport, textile and hotel industries in the country.
Moreover, Myanmar is also planning to open border trading centers in Myanmar-India border areas to promote the bilateral trading.
